Willow Plant Support Workshop

Service Description

In this 3-3.5 hour workshop, you will learn how to weave a willow plant support with step-by-step instructions. We will use a double three-rod wale to secure the base then some pairing to create the two spirals which circle up the support. All materials and tools are included, and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided (including a gluten-free option and plant milks). Willow plant supports are a lovely way to add height to a garden by using them to train climbing plants such a sweet peas or climbing vegetable crops. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing which you don't mind getting messy. This workshop is suitable for everyone except those with hand/joint mobility issues. Please Note: This workshop takes place at the Williamson Hall, Kirk Wynd, Abernethy to give everyone plenty of space.

Cancellation Policy

All tickets are fully refundable up to 14 days before the class minus a £5 processing fee. After this time, you will receive only half of the ticket price, unless the ticket is resold, in which case you will receive a full refund minus a £5 processing fee. You can reallocate your ticket to a friend or family member for no charge, but please confirm by email the name of the person attending. The class will only go ahead if 4 people can attend, if it is cancelled, you will receive a refund with as much notice as possible.
