A beginners basketry workshop
Service Description
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to weave a leaf frame basket with step-by-step instructions. This workshop is a great introduction to frame basket techniques for beginners. You will make the frame using a forma, weave willow to cover the frame then add two Japanese knots to secure both ends of the basket. All materials and tools are included and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. A leaf frame basket looks lovely on a sideboard or dining table where it can hold fruit, sweets or nuts. It also makes a beautiful basket for holding keys on a console table. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing which you don't mind getting messy. This workshop is suitable for everyone except those with hand/joint mobility issues.

Cancellation Policy
All tickets are fully refundable up to 14 days before the class minus a £5 processing fee. After this time, you will receive only half of the ticket price, unless the ticket is resold, in which case you will receive a full refund minus a £5 processing fee. You can reallocate your ticket to a friend or family member for no charge, but please confirm by email the name of the person attending. The class will only go ahead if 4 people can attend, if it is cancelled, you will receive a refund with as much notice as possible.
